Community

The Millard Jaycees have been providing community service since 1963

This includes all programs, which impact our community through either hands on community service, or fundraising projects that will benefit other community service organizations or philanthropies. Community Development program areas include Human Services, Community Improvement, Government Involvement and Community Fundraising. These programs enable us make a difference in our community by building playgrounds, presenting petitions to the city council, raising money for needy citizens or conducting other similar activities. Based on our members' input , our chapter decides what programs to become involved in and to what extent. The common thread connecting all Community Development activities is they began as an idea conceived by an individual, like you, who saw a need. Do you have an idea?
